This is the story of how I came up with this program. I am fairly genetically gifted but I couldn't jump well and even though I was young I wanted to increase my vertical and be a dunker so I tried different combination of plyometrics and different programs but none really worked and even if it did work it wasn't a great increase. I was looking for something that could transform my vertical and have me dunking. I found a program that helped me jump higher it wasn't much but it stilled increased my vertical and then it hit me!!
The increase of vertical was useless. I was jumping higher and all that but I couldn't dunk. It was weird and it didn't make sense. When I didn't have the ball I could jump high but when I had the ball or when I was in the game I couldn't elevate or functionally use my new vertical. It was the weirdest experience and then I realized that having a high vertical is only half the story and I mean only half. So what was the other half?
To discover the other half I watched and researched legendary dunkers to see what they did and I realized something important. Most of the dunkers NEVER PERFORMED PLYOMETRICS OR WEIGHT TRAINING. I was shocked. How is that possible! What is their secret.
Then after 4 years of research and I mean 4 years of watching videos and documentaries about dunkers and digging through scientific journals I finally found the secret that they where doing and that secret is what I call the kangaroo effect. After I developed , clearly defined and implanted the kangaroo effect it literally transformed me and not only did it help increase my vertical but It made me a dunker! My vertical was functional and I could jump high with or without the ball and I could dunk on people and on fast breaks . I had found the secret and I was ecstatic.
